Enjoy the excitement of historic Clayton,
NY -- the cultural center of the scenic 1000
Islands, on the St. Lawrence River. The charming,
family-friendly Mulberry Cottage is an ideal place
to call your vacation home. Dating back to the
1800s our little cottage is found on the Clayton
Walking Tour Map. This comfortable historic three
bedroom home is available May through October.
Local Activities and Attractions
Just a short walk away are many exciting local
attractions, including the Antique Boat
Museum, with its annual in-water Antique Boat
Show, the turn of the century Thousand Islands
Museum, and The
Arts Center. You'll surely want to take a St.
Lawrence River boat tour of the islands, and
perhaps even rent a St. Lawrence River Skiff for a
row, or a kayak to explore the region on your own,
or a boat to fish for a trophy musky. Nearby you'll
also find the 1000 Islands Region a mecca for scuba
diving enthusiasts. The St. Lawrence River has
become world renowned for its incredible water
clarity and numerous shipwrecks.

The Cottage
Mulberry Cottage can comfortably accommodate
up to five persons. Handsomely furnished, it has
two beautifully decorated bedrooms with double beds
upstairs. The downstairs bedroom has a single bed
featuring flowered chintz. Decorator wallpapers,
antique lace curtains, lovely fresh linens, and the
marvel of great mattresses will make your stay as
comfortable as home.
In the downstairs living room, relax or read on the
soft cushioned couch, or twin club chairs with
ottomans. Enjoy your meals in our large and airy
dining room, conveniently located next to the cozy,
efficient kitchen and full bath, with bathtub,
shower, and many thirsty towels.
Although Mulberry Cottage is not owner occupied (you get the whole house to yourself!), the owner is nearby and available should the need arise. A house key will be delivered to you upon your arrival. Dogs, cats and children are welcome.

Rental Rates
You can enjoy your privacy in this comfortable
accommodation for your party of up to five persons
- $195 per day with choice of breakfast*
- $10 per night extra for 2nd and 3rd beds
- weekly rates are available
*When making reservations please specify the
breakfast foods of your choice.
Cancellation Policy: Except in cases where
accommodations are rebooked by another guest, there
are no refunds on cancellations or early
departures.
